The housing market in Santa Clara County is much more active in November 2024 compared to the same time last year. Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Mountain View have seen over a 50% increase in units sold compared to November 2023. Prices continue to rise, with $3 million becoming the new baseline for most core Silicon Valley cities.
San Jose, representing the broader South Bay market with a larger data set, saw approximately 20% more single-family homes sold compared to November 2023. Prices increased by 15%, and 50% of the homes sold had a sale price over $1.92 million.
